Doug Gfeller

Doug had the privilege of starting the first Renaissance EXECUTIVE FORUM in 1995. This original Forum meets monthly with many of the original members. Forums for both CEOs and Key Executives are currently available in Orange County. As an Executive Coach and Chairman of Renaissance EXECUTIVE FORUMS, Doug uses his management and coaching skills to help other chief executives achieve their personal and business goals.

Doug’s business experience includes executive management positions in small and large corporations and the founding of Gfeller Develop-ment Company, a residential and commercial development firm. GDC constructed over 1,000 homes in Southern California over a fifteen-year period and attained a superior level of on-time delivery, quality, and customer responsiveness. This level of performance earned the com-pany many awards for design, customer service and community aware-ness.

Doug had that once-in-a-lifetime experience of being involved in the transformation of The Irvine Company from a ranching operation to one of the premier land developers in the world. He started in 1970 in fi-nance and moved into operations as the Vice President of all residential development. He developed a multi-disciplined team of experts who planned and obtained approvals for development of thousands of new homes.

Doug is active in the International Coach Federation and has been a Master Certified Coach since 1999. He was involved in the creation of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association and has been a fre-quent guest speaker for many business and community organizations. Doug also serves on the Board of Directors and Compensation commit-tee of Storm Industries, Inc. He has been active in the past as President of the Home Builders Council, Director of the National Building Indus-try Association, Board of Directors of the Newport Harbor Art Museum and Board of Directors of the Assessment Treatment Service Center, a youth diversion program.
