My name is Alison Conners, and I’ve been leading the CEO Peer groups with Renaissance Executive Forums throughout most of Virginia since 2016.

I’ve always called Virginia home, and have spent my career launching existing products and services into new markets and industries statewide. To me there’s no greater challenge than finding new markets for both innovative and traditional product lines. My combined experiences have allowed me to create lucrative opportunities for start-up and mature businesses alike.

Yet my greatest joy has been associating with successful executives in every industry and discipline. The depth of knowledge and resources I’ve been exposed to, as well as the quality of friendships I’ve developed, would have been difficult to imagine before.

Each of these executives has added immense value to my career, sharing wisdom, knowledge, and perspective. Each has shown an interest in sharing their success with others.

To my way of thinking, peer groups are the perfect vehicle to connect forward-thinking CEOs interested in focusing on best practices with others of similar mindsets. In each case, whether they’re seeking to build their long-term profitability, improve their career, or address personal questions, enlisting in REF peer groups delivers insights difficult to replicate elsewhere.

At every REF peer group meeting you’ll be introduced to CEOs of multi-million dollar companies willing to delve into problems they’re facing and openly asking for advice. There’s never a pre-determined agenda, allowing our executives to comfortably discuss whatever business issues keep them awake at night.

To encourage this candor, we always ensure both anonymity and that there’s no competition in the room. This discretion means our members can dig as deeply as they want to, provided the focus stays on professional results.

Naturally, when a common theme appears in the discussion, I automatically find subject experts to provide additional resources and answer participant questions.

So who am I? I’m the personal trainer you need for your career. I’m that link between you and your business goals, resources and people you’d probably never meet otherwise. I’m the bridge between you operating in isolation and the objective advice required to move your goals forward.

I’m Renaissance Executive Forums, and we’re more than just a peer group: We help you find the tools you need to create, then implement, a more successful future.
